With spring now officially behind us and the summer about to kick off, Inside the Gators decided to take a look at five prospects with whom the Florida Gators have helped themselves with over the four months of spring which includes college spring football camps as well as the high school spring evaluation period.

Players are listed alphabetically

What Took Place: On their very first day out on the road, Florida sent Randy Shannon by his high school to see him.

What was said: “I’m most definitely visiting Florida. I know Florida is No. 1 on my visit list. That’s where I’m from. My mom has really taken big interest in the Florida offer. She wants to go back home, so we plan on visiting down there, If anything were to ever happen with me and Bama, that’s the spot. That would be my option.”

The Competition: Alabama (commitment) & Tennessee

The Skinny: He is originally from Florida and comes from a family of Florida Gators fans (his uncle has posted on the Alley for years). He says he wants to visit Gainesville, now the question is - when?

The Bottom Line: If Alabama slips-up at all over the next eight months, Florida is sitting there waiting to pounce.
