Florida adds big time out-of-state running back
The Florida Gators received their sixth verbal pledge for the class of 2018 when Iverson Clement, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back out of Mount Holly (N.J.) Rancocas Valley, committed to the program today.
The standout from the Garden State committed to Florida over offers from the likes of Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Rutgers, Tennessee and others.
Clement explained what led to his commitment to the Gators.
“It’s just the fact that the school likes me just as I like them," said Clement. "Every time I visited, it went well.”
He continued.
“It was just me taking a step back and analyzing school's offenses. Just somewhere I can try and make an immediate impact. That’s pretty much what it is. You want to go somewhere you not only feel comfortable, but somewhere you they want you as much as you want them.”
