Now that the Early Signing Period is behind us the Florida coaching staff has roughly two and a half weeks to reset their board in order to hit the trail hard when the Dead Period ends on January, 11.
From there the Gators staff has roughly a three and a half week sprint to the finish line on National Signing Day - February, 7.
With 13 signees in the books, Florida could theoretically take up to 12 more signees.
However, they will need to see a bit more attrition before now and Signing Day if that is to happen.
The board will have more of a feel of 'finality' to it once the entire new coaching staff is in place.
THE OVERVIEW:Â Â

Need: 2-3
The Skinny: After being shut out in the 2016 cycle, Florida hit the mother-load at defensive tackle in the 2017 cycle. Even so, the Gators could stand to sign another top end tackle in this cycle. Especially a 3-4 type of anchor in the middle. The Gators could use several pass rushers whether they come in the form of traditional defensive ends or 3-4 outside linebackers.
He is scheduled to see North Carolina, Florida State and Michigan State in January before visiting the Gators the very final weekend - February, 2nd. The one time Tennessee commit doesn't seem to have a true leader at this time.
