* Report: Callaway decides future

Defensive lineman Taven Bryan became the first Florida player to officially announce his plans to forego his senior season of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft. Bryan made his announcement via his Twitter account Monday afternoon. In his note, Bryan says that the hire of Dan Mullen made his decision difficult.
Bryan, a redshirt junior in 2017, became a force on the defensive line stepping in the starting spot left open by the departure of Caleb Brantley. This past season, Bryan was No. 2 on the team in sacks (4), No. 4 in quarterback hurries (3), No. 4 in total tackles (40), No. 4 in tackles for loss (6). While the numbers are certainly impressive, Bryan's disruptions did not always show up in the box score.
A three-star prospect out of Casper, Wy. in the class of 2014, Bryan was recruited by former Florida defensive line coach Brad Lawing, an assistant under Will Muschamp. His position coach of the past three seasons, Chris Rumph, gave Bryan the nickname "The Wyoming Wild Man."
Bryan joins Antonio Callaway in leaving UF early. Callaway has not yet announced his plans, but the agent he signed with has confirmed the reported signing to the media.
