Antonio Callaway has reportedly made a decision regarding his future on the football field.

According to Neil Stratton of Inside The League, Callaway has signed with an agent and will enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

A four-star wide receiver out of Booker T. Washington in Miami, Callaway signed with the Gators as part of the 2015 recruiting. As a freshman, he flashed play-making abilities at both wide receiver and punt returner. That season, he led the Gators with 678 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 35 catches. He also recorded 28 punt returns for 435 yards and two touchdowns.

Callaway was the focal point of the offense in 2016, again leading the team in receiving yards (54 catches, 721 yards, 3 touchdowns). A reliable pass-catcher and electric play-maker with the ball in his hands, many felt Callaway's production was hampered by poor quarterback play.

For all the highlight plays he made on the field, Callaway was almost as frequently in the headlines for incidents off the field. Prior to the 2016 season, he was accused of sexual assault by a UF student. The matter did not go to local law enforcement and a UF code of conduct hearing determined Callaway was not responsible, allowing him to return to the team for fall camp.

In May 2017, Callaway was cited for marijuana possession as a passenger in a car pulled over for a seatbelt violation. He agreed to a plea deal for the misdemeanor charge in July.

In August, Callaway was one of nine players suspended for credit card fraud. As a first-time felony offender, Callaway was offered a pre-trail intervention by the State Attorney's Office.

By signing with an agent, Callaway forgoes two years of remaining collegiate eligibility.
