Florida, LSU just a weird, weird game

The press box televisions, which hang in the open at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, were being whipped in the wind, eerily creaking while the sun played peek-a-boo on the field creating an almost alternate reality feel.

Down on the field, a remnant of a gale force wind blew the clouds in front of the sun on a drive that saw Duke Dawson miss out on not one, but two possible interceptions. Senior safety Nick Washington went out with a shoulder injury. A pass interference call was thrown on freshman corner CJ Henderson that will be highly contested for days. The drive ended with a LSU field goal and from there the contest turned into what we have come to expect when these two teams clash.

Thus was the atmosphere in which No. 21 Florida fell to SEC foe LSU.
