Florida puts the full court press on four-star commit Moore

With the recent loss of offensive line coach Mike Summers to Louisville, Florida sent coaches to spend most of the day Tuesday with Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek offensive lineman TJ Moore.

According to the four-star Florida commit it was Director of Player Personnel Drew Hughes and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier that spent the majority of the day with the committed lineman.

“They were really there basically like all day with me,” said Moore. “They had Coach Hughes come by to see me and they had Coach Nuss on me all day. They came to my school and met with the people around there to see how I was as a student and how my character was. After school we met up again and they met with my parents. They built a great relationship and they talked to my dad and my mom to show the people they were, and we just fell in love with each other."

Later in the evening Jim McElwain joined the group in order to visit with Moore and his family. Getting a chance for his family to spend time with McElwain was something that Moore felt was important.
