Forgive senior wide receiver Brandon Powell, but at this point, he knows better than to expect stability at Florida.

"Really my whole four years have been really strange," Powell said when asked if last week had been his strangest in Gainesville. "I've been through, what, nine quarterbacks now in four years? Two head coaches? I don't think it can get any stranger than that."

Powell was part of a 2014 recruiting class signed by former coach Will Muschamp. The Gators have started six different quarterbacks – Jeff Driskel, Treon Harris, Will Grier, Luke Del Rio, Austin Appleby and Feleipe Franks – since his arrival. Randy Shannon is now the fourth head coach (including former interim DJ Durkin) Powell has answered to during his UF career.
