San Antonio, Tx. | 6-foot-2 and 300-pound defensive tackle Nesta Silvera has been committed to Miami (Fla.) for nearly a year but other programs continue to pursue him, including the Florida Gators.

However, the product of American Heritage High School in Plantation, Fla. doesn’t have much to say about recruiting.

When asked why he’s considering Florida, Silvera shrugged his shoulders.

He also says he only has one visit in the near future and that visit is to the school that holds his commitment.

“Miami,” Silvera told InsidetheGators.com when asked if he has any official visits planned.

When asked if that’s the only school that will get an official visit from him, he responded with “right now.”

That being said, he said that there’s still a possibility he could take an official visit to Gainesville, Fla. to see what the Gators have to offer.
