COPELAND-JONES CONTINUE TO BUILD BOND
Franklin (Ga.) Heard County Rivals100 quarterback Emory Jones is hard at work trying to recruit Jacob Copeland, the No. 121 rated player in the country according to Rivals.
They’re teammates on Team Highlight in the Under Armour All-American game and practicing together at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.
The two hung out until late last night, and according to Copeland their bond goes beyond the gridiron, though, Copeland says that Jones always sneaks a little recruiting into the conversation.
“It’s not always about football,” Copeland said. “But he adds that little bit in their talking about ‘You need to come [to UF] so that I can throw you some dimes and touchdowns.’”
Copeland also has Alabama, Tennessee and Texas A&M in the mix of schools he is considering, and he took to twitter to vent a little about the decision last night. And there was Jones, again, in Copeland’s ear.
