Friday Night Lights Countdown: #1 Barnes

The summer college football camp season comes to an end this week with Florida staging their annual Friday Night Lights Camp.

FNL, which can draw anywhere from 15 or more four and five star prospects, has long been considered one of the premiere college camps of the summer.

Even at an event such as this, for whatever reason, there's still a handful of prospects we are looking forward to seeing more than the others.

This week Inside the Gators will countdown the five prospects we most anticipate seeing on Friday night under the lights.

Competition: Florida State, Miami, North Carolina & Others

Analyst Reaction: “One of the premier lineman in Florida, Barnes is incredible powerful and easily holds his own against top-level competition. He's the type of player that will be ready to play early in his college career.” – Rivals.com Southeast Analyst Rob Cassidy

The Bottom Line: Barnes comes in at #1 on the list because not only is there a big need at his position, but at this moment he is the highest rated prospect Florida should be in the best position to land come Signing Day. There may be three other programs listed as the competition, but for now - and likely going forward - this is a two-team battle between Florida and North Carolina.
