Florida’s total of suspended players for the Michigan game is now up to 10 as head coach Jim McElwain announced that junior running back Jordan Scarlett and redshirt freshman wide receiver Rick Wells are suspended from team activities. A source close to the situation told Inside the Gators that the suspensions are in connection to the misuse of academic funds which resulted in seven other players being suspended earlier this month. Freshman wide receiver James Robinson was also announced as suspended after being cited for marijuana possession last week.
