For the second time in a row, Gators wide receiver Antonio Callaway greeted the team at the practice fields before the start of practice. Quite a few players and coaches were amped up and Callaway looks to be taking a leadership role by doing so.

Quarterback Feleipe Franks and defensive lineman CeCe Jefferson led the team during the stretches and Swamp Jacks before practice kicked off.

Fastball Notes

* The teams were integrated during the fastball period for the second straight open practice, which resulted in mixed squads between the 1’s, 2’s, and 3’s.

* Franks and Malik Zaire worked with majority of the first team offense, while Luke Del Rio worked mainly with the second team.

* During Franks’ short stint during fast ball on Monday, he rolled out and targeted Moral Stephens for a short completion and Stephens dropped the only pass that was thrown his way.
