Dan Mullen and John Hevesy first linked up in 2001 as assistants on Urban Meyer’s staff at Bowling Green. Seventeen seasons later, they’re still coaching together. From 2001-08, they were together on Meyer’s staffs at Bowling Green, Utah and Florida. When Mullen accepted the Mississippi State head coaching job in 2009, Hevesy tagged along as a running game coordinator and offensive line coach.
