RIVALS100 LINEMAN SURE OF FOUR OFFICIAL VISITS
Earlier this month Concord (N.C.) Rivals100 defensive tackle Rick Sandidge narrowed his list to a final seven - with Florida making the cut. Now he says that he knows where he will take four of his five official visits, and the Gators are one of his destinations.

FIVE-STAR NARROWS LIST TO SIX
Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage five-star cornerback Patrick Surtain has narrowed his list to a top six. Though Florida made the cut, as of today the Gators have a lot of ground to make up.

FLORIDA OFFERS FOUR-STAR DEFENSIVE END
On Wednesday Florida extended an offer to Blairstown (N.J.) Blair Academy Rivals250 defensive end Jayson Oweh. The Rivals250 lineman currently has a top three of Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State.

Though it made for a good story when Florida first offered him last month, the Gators didn't make the recently released top six of St. Louis (Mo.) Chaminade Rivals100 defensive tackle Trevor Trout.

FARRELL IMPRESSED WITH CORRAL
In this week's edition of Mike Farrell's Three-Point Stance, Farrell makes special mention of the performance put on by Florida Rivals100 quarterback commit Matt Corral over the weekend.
In ranking the top five performing quarterbacks, Farrell had Corral second behind the always impressive Trevor Lawrence.
Here is what he wrote about him:
Matt Corral – You could put Corral even with or even ahead of Lawrence here for his performance this past weekend. You want to see NFL throws? Check out the film. He made one throw on the run I don’t think even Lawrence could make and the way he handled pressure was a thing of beauty. He recently lost his fifth star due to a lackluster spring and summer, but if he plays like this all season, he’ll have it back. Florida fans have to be happy.

FLORIDA FIGHTING FOR A SPOT IN RIVALS100 TEAMMATES LIST OF FINALISTS
Though they have never been the outright leader, or truthfully in the thick of it, for months now Florida has been mentioned as a possibility by Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage teammates - Rivals100 cornerbacks - Patrick Surtain and Tyson Campbell.
The Gators have always been 'just hanging in' there, mostly part of their second or third tier of schools.
Now, it appears as though Florida will have to fight if they want to become legitimate contenders to get an official visit this fall.
Rivals analyst Adam Friedman has the latest on the duo.
