One of the biggest storylines surrounding the Florida-Georgia game is whether the Gators will be able to slow down and contain elite UGA running backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel. In seven games, Chubb is averaging 98.29 yards per game, which ranks No. 3 in the SEC. Michel is not far behind at 82 yards per game (No. 8). Together they make the most consistently productive running back duo Florida has faced all season.
"They're physical backs. They're both seniors,” redshirt freshman linebacker Jeremiah Moon said. “They're going to get paid. So we just got to stop them.”
For UF’s defense, however, facing talented running backs is nothing new.
