Sandidge recently hit the road for a series of visits to schools that are near the top of his list. Miami, Florida, Florida State and Georgia all got a chance to try to impress him and it seems like each visit made a big impression on Sandidge. He had memorable conversations with the coaches at Florida and Florida State. South Carolina and North Carolina are also very much involved in Sandidge’s recruitment and the Gamecocks are recruiting him the hardest. He plans on visiting LSU, Ohio State and Michigan sometime soon. Sandidge will release a top 11 later this month. Florida, Florida State, Miami, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia Tech will make the cut.

Justin Fields skipped the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp in Atlanta last weekend so he could get up to Penn State for the program's spring game. That was good for James Franklin and the Nittany Lions. For the first time since Fields has been committed to Penn State, there is a little chatter about him looking around. Florida, Florida State and Georgia are three schools we know that are staying in contact with Fields and he is likely going to see those three schools again this summer. Auburn offered Fields over the weekend and the Tigers are now on his radar too. He says all the right things about his commitment to Penn State and he appears to still be pretty strong in his commitment, but the door is still cracked at least a little.

Hollifield said his top eight schools are Virginia Tech, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Stanford and Notre Dame. He enjoyed his visit to South Carolina on Saturday and he was very impressed by Florida and Florida State during his recent visits. He was happily surprised by how early those two schools said he would be able to get playing time. Hollifield will visit Stanford on May 19 and begin the application process this summer. That should be his last visit before the season.

Rivals250 wide receiver Demarcus Gregory released his top five on Saturday, narrowing his list to Ole Miss, Tennessee, N.C. State, Florida and West Virginia. It appears as if the Rebels have the advantage based on Gregory’s comments on Sunday, but he said he will continue to give every school a fair shake heading into the summer. As of now, Gregory said he will camp with the Rebels, Vols and Gators in June but could make a commitment announcement before then.

Dean is not too far from a decision. He is looking at June announcement right now, but a commitment in May is not out of the question. He still would like to get out to visit UCLA, so that could slow things down if he decides to get that visit in before he commits. Alabama is a school you hear a lot about behind the scenes, with Georgia right there as well. South Carolina had him on campus Saturday and the Gamecocks are right in the thick of this as well. Dean almost committed last year to Florida, so the Gators are not going away, either. He is an early enrollee who wants to put his recruitment behind him this summer.
