Sunshine State Recruiting Showdown
As you very well might expect when two premier programs share the same state, some of the fiercest recruiting battles Florida faces year in and year out are against in-state nemesis Florida State.
Here is a breakdown of three battles that each team has won as well as three prospects they are going head to head for this recruiting cycle.

THREE BATTLES FLORIDA WON
This former four-star was one of the Gators first verbal pledges for their 2013 class. He was solid for most of the recruiting process until the end when he wanted to take some visits. Florida State was his very first offer and lingered among his favorites for most of his recruitment and he even visited the Seminoles for their match-up against the Gators - which was actually the last time UF beat FSU.
