Inside the Gators was on the sidelines for the 7th open practice of the Florida Gators fall football camp. Here are some of the biggest takeaways and observations from the open portions of today's practice.
Suspended Gators wide receiver Antonio Callaway was attempting to display his leadership by greeting his teammates at the gate before each practice.
Now that he is indefinitely suspended, today, running back Jordan Scarlett took over that role by greeting his teammates at the beginning of practice.

Fast Ball Notes
* For the second consecutive practice, both the offense and defense had minimal changes to the line up, but there was one very notable one.
* During the last open practice it was Luke Del Rio as the first quarterback taking snaps. Today it reverted back to Feleipe Franks being the first quarterback to take snaps with the first team offense.
* Jordan Scarlett was once again the lead running back, with Jawaan Taylor at right tackle, Fred Johnson at right guard, T.J. McCoy at center, Brett Heggie at left guard, and Martez Ivey at left tackle.
* Freshman wide receiver Daquon Green broke into the first team offense today for the first time, playing along-side Brandon Powell, Tyrie Cleveland, and Josh Hammond.
* The defense utilized a nickel formation once again.
