With just under two weeks remaining until National Signing Day we are beginning the second of three consecutive big visit weekends for Florida.

The Gators are expecting to host 11 official visitors - seven of them already committed to Florida.

Interest: Committed

The Skinny: This three-star has been solid to the Gators for well over a year now and has been recruiting hard for the Orange and Blue since winning his second straight state title.

Interest: Committed

Others: None

The Skinny: This three-star has been committed to Florida for quite some time now and has no interest in visiting any other schools before signing day. Though Byrd is still raw in some areas the staff is very high on his upside and frame.

Interest: Committed

Others: None

The Skinny: Despite offers from Alabama and Oregon as well as new South Florida coach Charlie Strong going in-home with Carter last night, this four-star is very solid to Florida. He has been one of the biggest recruiters for the Gators this cycle.

Interest: Medium

Others: Penn State (11/5), Tennessee (1/13), and Alabama

The Skinny: Tennessee has gotten a lot of buzz here coming off an official to Knoxville last weekend, but Penn State has also felt confident about where they stand with him in the past. There is a draw of playing in the SEC for Conliffe and he knows the Gators have a big need at his position, but with this being his first time at UF a lot rides on this visit. He will be making a commitment on 1/31.

Interest: Committed

Others: None

The Skinny: Despite an overture from Clemson, Davis remains solid to the Gators. In fact many schools have tried coming by Davis school to talk with him, but are brushed away by his head coach. This visit to UF will be the one and only visit he takes.

Interest: Committed

Others: Tennessee

The Skinny: Green has been solid to Florida since he committed a year and a half ago. He hasn’t taken any other visits since ending his recruitment but has mention a possible visit to Tennessee, but has no dates set. Even if a visit to Knoxville does happen, it’s seen more as a trip for fun.

Interest: High

Others: Miami (12/9) and Alabama (1/13)

The Skinny: The Gators have been seen as the team to beat here for several months. This one time Miami commitment has the Hurricanes still in play, but it does seem they have faded some. Alabama had him on campus last weekend and they look like the Gators biggest threat. This weekend the staff will aim to extending the lead they have held here - if not to get him to pledge to them outright - even if he wants to keep it quiet.

Interest: Committed

Others: Auburn

The Skinny: Despite the loss of Mike Summers, Moore seems very solid to the Gators. After meeting with multiple coaches from Florida this past week it seems a lot of the questions and concerns have been answered. Auburn has recently offered and is trying to get him on campus next weekend, but according to Moore, if all things go well at UF this weekend he will not be taking any other visits.

Interest: High

Others: Miami and Georgia (1/27)

The Skinny: The Gators are the leader here heading into his weekend visit to Florida. Though he is listed as an offensive lineman, the Gators like this four-star big man on the defensive side of the ball. The staff would love to get this one done while he’s on campus, but he has a visit to UGA lined up for next weekend.

Interest: High

Others: Michigan State (1/13), Louisville and LSU

The Skinny: Of all the visitors on campus this weekend, Smith is the most likely to pull the trigger while he’s there. The Gators have come on very strong since extending an offer and have gone in-home with Smith twice. After backing off his commitment to N.C. State last week Florida is seen as the team in the driver's seat.

Interest: Committed

Others: None

The Skinny: This four-star defender has been ultra solid to Florida since ending his recruiting process during the summer. He has been to Gainesville multiple times in the past to see his brother Quincy Wilson play, but will finally get an official visit of his own this weekend. This is a guy that is expected to come in and contribute early for the Gators.

Here on a weekend full of official visitors, the Gators are expecting one unofficial visitor, committed cornerback Shawn Davis.
