With the 2016 season at its midway point during the Gators' bye week, Inside the Gators now takes a closer look at No. 15 Florida (5-1, 3-1 SEC) by grading each of its contributors. Today, we look at the defense and special teams.

DEFENSIVE END
PLAYERGRADETHE SKINNY

1. Jordan Sherit

B+

Prior to his knee injury, Sherit was playing some of his best football. A disciplined, reliable contributor, Sherit has shined when it comes to defending the run this season.

2. Keivonnis Davis

C+

Davis hasn't filled up the stat sheet or been as effective rushing the passer as some of his other counterparts. However, he's shown flashes of his potential as his role has increased.

3. Jabari Zuniga

A

With five sacks, two quarterback hurries and a forced fumble already on the year, Zuniga has had a phenomenal start to 2016. He's tied currently for the most sacks by a freshman in the country.

4. Antonneous Clayton

B-

Florida opted to play Clayton rather than redshirt him once injuries along the defensive line began piling up. Clayton, who has lifted his weight up now to about 250 pounds, has a promising future ahead of him in Gainesville.
