What an incredible day for Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard 2019 defensive end Braylen Ingraham.

In a matter of hours he picked up more offers from 'elite' programs than most prospects will see throughout the entirety of their recruiting process.

It began when - via Twitter - he announced an offer from Florida and ended with an announced offer from Auburn several hours later.

In-between some of college football's heaviest hitters also joined the hit parade.

For his part, the 6-foot-4, 250-pounder couldn't believe what was taking place.

“It was a blessing,” stated Ingraham. “It was a big surprise, I didn't expect anything like that to happen.”

No one could or should expect a rush of offers like what took place Tuesday.

Ingraham ran down the coaches who extended the offer and shared a quick thought on each program.

Florida: “Coach [Corey] Bell offered me from Florida. They are a big time school and I was really surprised. I'm really happy I got that offer.”

Alabama: “I really don't know his name, he's the tight ends coach [Joe Pannunzio], but that is a dream offer. I grew up watching them.”

Michigan: “Greg Mattison is the coach that offered me. All I really know about them is that they put players in the NFL.”

Ohio State: “Zach Smith offered me. They are another great school that's always playing for championships.”

Auburn: “It was the receivers coach [Kodi Burns] that offered me. What I know about them is that they're a big rival of Alabama.”

He had already received offers from the likes of Florida State, Georgia and LSU.

As you might expect, when asked if he had any sort of leaderboard, Ingraham replied, “I really like all the schools that offered me so far. None of them really stand out.”

He does though have a favorite college team and a favorite player growing up, though it is a bit of a strange pairing.

“My favorite team to watch is Clemson,” said Ingraham before adding, “And my favorite player was the d-end that played at South Carolina and was drafted by Houston [Jadeveon Clowney].”

Ingraham isn't exactly an unheard of. At the end of Feburary he was singled out as one of the top performers at the 3 Stripes Camp Miami stop.

Ingraham's only visit over the spring was to see Central Florida's spring game.

This summer he plans on seeing several campuses.

“My head coach is taking me to Kentucky, Clemson, Florida and I think North Carolina is another one.”
