There was absolutely no drama involved with the recruiting process of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas quarterback Jake Allen. He committed to Florida the summer before the start of his senior season and never wavered whatsoever. No other visits, not hedging his bets, no twists and no turns.

Therefore, the very first thing the Gator Nation knows about him is that without question he is loyal.

Today it's time to learn a little bit more about Allen on a personal level in this edition of Getting to Know.

If you could drop everything and go to a city, where would you go?

"I’m thinking of maybe going somewhere in California. Santa Monica, you know Malibu, that whole area is so beautiful. Either that, or I’m thinking about going over to Exuma in the Bahamas. Just putting away my cell phone, putting away everything, and living in paradise."

If you a chance to go on a dream date, who would it be with?

"Gigi Hadid, supermodel for Victoria’s Secret. She is gorgeous."

What would be your first purchase if you got drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft?

"My dad always taught me to invest your money right and be smart with it because it is not everlasting. The money runs out. It would be nice to have a car… not a fancy car. I want a pickup truck, like a Toyota Tundra."

What is one item that you cannot live without it?

"Definitely my phone."

What is your favorite professional team?

"The New England Patriots. My dad is from the Massachusetts area and he grew up in the North Shore of Manchester-by-the-Sea. Anything New England, that’s us."

Who is your favorite professional player right now?

"Tom Brady. I believe I can relate my style of playing dink-and-dunk football to him. He’s definitely a good guy, on and off the field, to look up to."

Speaking of Brady, he has an intense regime in terms of what he puts in his body and how he works out. Is that something that you are going to try take to the next level? Are you going to follow those techniques?

"My dad is into all of that: eating organic, trying to limit the amount of dairy that you put in your body. Overall, just eating organic, eating super healthy, and I’m trying to limit the amount of oil that I’m eating (like fries). The way you feel after you eat right is amazing."

Who has been the biggest role model for you in your life?

"I would probably have to go with my quarterback coach, Eric Kresser. He’s been a guy that, on and off the football field, taught me his mistakes and just wants me to learn from his mistakes. My dad has been a huge part of that for me too. My dad has been a pretty dang good role model for me. They’ve been guys that, through the adversity and through the success, I’ve always been able to have a legitimate conversation with and just to help me out through thick and thin."

What are your favorite types of music? Do you have a favorite artist?

"I’ve been getting into country lately. I’m really enjoying country music. Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Darius Rucker. Just trying to put positive stuff in my ears."

What is your favorite movie?

"I love Transformers. I look forward to every new movie like it’s the first one."

What is your favorite TV Show?

"The Office. Dwight is the man."

If you could meet one person in the world, who would that be?

"I want to meet Tim Tebow for sure. What he did with the Florida program and how he used his faith to change people’s lives, that is something that I want to do. I want to use my faith to help others, to help little kids that want to be like me. I want to be able to use that Florida Gator platform to do what he did."

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

"I see myself on an NFL team. I see myself going first round. I see myself making a good amount of money. I see myself changing people’s lives. Through football, I believe the Lord has given me the talent to touch other people and I want to run with that. I can’t imagine myself playing any other sport or doing any other thing."

What are three things on your bucket list?

"I always wanted to go to like the Maldives or Dubai, where they have the cool hotels on the water. I want to go skiing again soon. I used to go up to Colorado a lot. I want to keep on playing football. Help the Gators win a National title."
