Getting to Know: Trey Dean

The most recent season of college football saw a multitude of head-coaching changes, which Trey Dean had to experience first-hand.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound safety from Hampton (GA.) had committed to the University of Tennessee in August and remained a commit until early December, even after the firing of head coach Butch Jones. Once Dean learned of the Vols’ hiring of Alabama’s defensive coordinator, Jeremy Pruitt, to replace Jones, he decided to reopen his recruiting process. Dean told Inside the Gators that his decision came down to Alabama or Florida, of which the latter became the school that Dean committed to and signed with.

Today it's time to learn a little bit more about Dean on a playing and personal level in this edition of Getting to Know.
