Will Putnam is winning on and off the field.
In the same week that he picked up an offer from Clemson, the 6-foot-4, 280-pound offensive guard won the Florida Class 3A State Championship in wrestling for his weight division. Along with being a pretty good wrestler, Putnam is attracting attention from numerous colleges, having already received 27 offers.
One of those offers came from Florida, which has been in contact with Putnam nearly every day.
