SEC programs leading the way for newly minted Rivals100 speedster
On Tuesday Rivals recruiting analysts came to a conclusion that many college coaches have known for awhile now – Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage wide receiver Anthony Schwartz is one of the top prospects in the nation.
The 6-foot, 175-pound speedster, formerly rated as a three-star, was bumped to four-star, Rivals100 status by Rivals.
“It doesn't mean a lot to me because I don't actually look at the rankings a lot,” explained Schwartz, “but I do like how they are kind of like admitting that they had me underrated before. Because I play better than three-stars.”
He certainly hasn't been unnoticed or underrated by college coaches – who streamed in and out of his high school during the recently completed spring evaluation period.
Asked who some of the more prominent programs in contact with him over the spring and he rattled off a list which includes Auburn, Florida, Notre Dame, Oregon and Tennessee
Several of those programs are among his favorites.
