Florida and Miami were considered the top two since the beginning of the year, but after visiting the Gators earlier this week, Fort Meyers (Fla.) Dunbar 2019 defensive end Derick Hunter returned home and committed to the Hurricanes.

Though he was in 'enemy' territory, attending, but not participating in a camp in the Peach State, Apopka (Fla.) Rivals100 offensive lineman William Barnes was decked out in Gators gear at the 3 Stripe Camp stop in Georgia on Wednesday.

Earlier today Inside the Gators posted an article on Miami (Fla.) Carol City wide out Tyquan Thornton - who is committed to Baylor, but offered by Florida over the weekend.

Well, he didn't stay committed for long as he tweeted tonight that he is back to being open.

Before heading to this weekend's Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by adidas Decatur (Ala.) Austin four-star running back Asa Martin decided to take a quick trip over to visit with the Crimson Tide.

Though he was committed to Miami, over the weekend Miami (Fla.) Carol City three-star safety Randy Russell visited Florida along with his high school teammates for the Gators 7v7 Challenge.

This afternoon he decommitted from Miami.

2019 Sunshine State defensive end Derick Hunter is visiting Florida on Tuesday. He already has earned offers from Florida, Miami, Tennessee and many others.

Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest four-star wide receiver Jacob Copeland - who was once down to two schools before expanding his list to five favorites - appears to be set to narrow his list once again.
