One of the premiere camps of the summer takes place this weekend as over 100 of the top prospects in the nation converge on Indianapolis for the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by adidas.
As you might expect at an event such as this, there will be quite a few top Florida targets on hand.
This week Inside the Gators will countdown the five prospects we most anticipate seeing compete this weekend.
Competition: Alabama & Auburn.
Analyst Reaction: "Martin is a balanced back, and he is athletic enough that some schools have even mentioned playing defensive back on the next level to him. One of his best attributes is receiving the football. He has some of the best hands in the country, including those of top wide receivers. Martin is a running back with good size and he is more of a slasher. He can get yards inside or make plays on the perimeter. Martin will be a three down back on the next level." – Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons
The Skinny: Six weeks ago Florida was battling Auburn for the services of Martin and truth be told, he was probably the Gators to lose at that time. However, Alabama entered the picture with an offer, and now - though he won't say it - it is probably safe to say that the Tide hold the lead spot. There is still time for Florida to move back up, but the Gators will need to get him on campus if they hope to regain momentum. This weekend will be telling - which of the three finalists does he talk about the most? Which of their commits and targets does he hang around the most?
