Before this past weekend it is likely that not many Florida or Miami fans had heard of Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington wide receiver Tyquan Thornton.
Truthfully, there wasn't much reason to.
He holds a 5.5 recruiting rating, which is a low three-star, and though he is committed to Baylor, he didn't possess the most impressive of offer lists.
That however is changing.
After show-out performances while camping at both Florida (Friday) and Miami (Saturday), Thornton has seen interest in him increase significantly.
He picked up three big offers in four days when Florida, Miami and then Tennessee all stepped forward with offers.
Before the recruiting process started taking place earlier and earlier, this is exactly what college camps were designed to do - give rising seniors an opportunity to show what they have.
