On Tuesday, Florida held its first open practice since the week of the Vanderbilt game. The Gators practiced in new helmets, as seen Monday's night unveiling of the alternate uniforms for Saturday's game in The Swamp.
The roughly 10-minute period included the “Swamp Jacks” warm-ups, a brief 11-on-11 fastball and position group drills. Six key contributors were listed on Monday's injured report and a majority did not participate in the portion of Tuesday's practice open to media viewing.
