With some prospects, regardless of whether or not they are publicly committed, their recruiting process can best be described as a roller-coaster, or perhaps even train-wreck - depending on the young man.

To call their process eventful would be an understatement.

Then there are young men such as Bradenton (Fla.) Braden River defensive end Taylor Upshaw, who after receiving an offer from Florida committed less then two weeks later and has been rock solid ever since.

He doesn't talk or tweet much, which means he pretty much faded into the background once he made his decision known.

It may sound kind of boring, but it is on those type of dependable prospects that a college football team is built.

This past weekend he visited Florida for the Gators 17-16 loss to LSU. UF is the only program he has or will visit - taking trips to Clemson to see his brother play notwithstanding.

WHAT IS THE STAFF SAYING TO YOU? "I’m enrolling early. They’re really happy about that and I’ll be able to get two months of lifting and working out with the team before I participate in the spring. So, really, just stay healthy… But, other than, just keep working."

WHAT IS IT LIKE FOR AN INCOMING SIGNEE TO SEE FRESHMEN ON THE FIELD? "It motivates me because that’s what I want. I don’t want to just be one of those people that is on the team. I want to contribute as well as possible. And I see that. As long as I keep working, continue to develop, then there's no reason why I couldn’t do that."

ON THE POSSIBILITY OF TAKING OTHER VISITS: "No, no. I’m 100% all in.

ON WHETHER HE IS STILL CONSIDERING OTHER PROGRAMS: "No. Just Florida, that’s it. I’ll probably come next week for Texas A&M. But, no, that’s just it. I’m coming here."

IS HE DOING ANY RECRUITING OF HIS OWN? "To be honest, I haven’t really recruited anybody to come. But, I mean, this is a great spot. This is a great opportunity. It’s just great here.
