Texas A&M (4-2, 2-1 SEC) has been in the SEC since 2012, but this will be the first trip to The Swamp for Kevin Sumlin's squad. 1. Pick up the pace
One of the most talked-about storylines of the week was Florida's need to improve its operational pace. The Gators are No. 124 nationally in number of plays per game at 60.8. The issue has been more noticeable with redshirt freshman Feleipe Franks at quarterback.
A lot has been made this week about how slow Florida is to get the playcall and get to the line of scrimmage. The Gators had a week of practice to work on operating smoother and faster.
UF's defense can score (though it has been a few games), but the team would prefer to have more opportunities on offense.
